Join us for an exhilarating dog sledding experience in the stunning Sun Peaks backcountry! Our Into the Wild Experience is a thrilling journey that takes you up nearly 500 feet in elevation, with a scenic stop at Little McGillivray Lake. You’ll enjoy about 45 minutes to 1 hour of sledding, depending on the snow conditions. This tour is perfect for the whole family and is fully guided, with a chance to meet your dog sled team and enjoy some snacks afterward!

Standard Sled Configuration

Get ready to cuddle! Our sled configuration cannot be adjusted. Each sled cannot exceed 350lbs or 160kg. We are strictly adhering to the weight limit to ensure comfort and safety.

Snow Conditions

Our team has the right to change and update itinerary or duration. We will inform you ahead of time in case there are changes in schedule depending on snow conditions.

Cancellation

You can cancel your tour for a full refund or reschedule it up to 48 hours before your tour start time using the link in your confirmation email. In the rare event we need to cancel your tour, we will issue a full refund.

Rebooking

If you need to reschedule due to change in schedule, injury, illness, please contact us 48 hours before your scheduled time, (or ASAP) and we’ll do our best to accommodate you on a case-by-case basis.

What a memorable experience! My kids and I had a blast in the sled, but then we got to pet and cuddle all the dogs! I highly recommend a tour to anyone visiting Sun Peaks in the winter. Can't wait to go again next year!

We had the best time with Chris and the dogs! He was a great tour guide, introducing us to all the dogs and the dogs were super friendly! We loved the sledging - beautiful views and impressive to see how fast the dogs can go through the forest - highly recommend!
